SeoSiteCheckup is an online tool to measure how your website performs when it comes to search engine optimization. With a step by step overview on which parts you could improve.
How does your website score on SEO? You can check this with SeoSiteCheckup, a website which shows how good your website scores. Aside from that, the site also shows how you can improve things. So very useful.
I also did a little test on my website and was shocked to see how many things could be improved.
The tool is free in use and gives a huge (!) list with points of improvement. Some improvements are a little more technical than others, but most things you can easily do yourself.
SeoSiteCheckup, how does it work?
Very simple actually, you go to the SeoSiteCheckup website and you fill out your website address in the entry field. Click on the button and then the analysis starts.
You then get a general score with a graphic.
And underneath quite a list with all kinds of things that have been analysed.
With the SiteCheckUp you can check the following:
- information about your Meta tags
- what your mention (rich snippets) looks like in Google
- the use of your keywords is analysed
- status of your headers (H1, H2, etc) if you have a sitemap
- if you have pasted the right Google Analytics code
- the amount of backlinks
- the speed of your website
- mobile performance
- and much more!

This is one of the most extensive and clear tools you can use for free.
You can also email the report to yourself or turn it into a pdf or save it.
So, a lot of work to do….
But note: You can only monitor one website per day. But most people only have one website.
The paid version gives more options, like analysing more websites per day and a clear dashboard.
