Designing a logo is necessary when you are starting a company. A free tool to design a logo is DesignMantic.
You can of course let a graphic designer design your logo – also for your website -, but if you don’t have the budget for this, then you can do it yourself.
- The logo gives identity. By creating your own identity, you can shine with your company as much as you want. For example a family company, or more business and formal? This is something you can add to your logo.
- The logo makes you recognizable. Because people see the same logo every time which will make your company more memorable. An own logo can also be used in advertisements.

How does it work?
Go to the website DesignMantic and fill out your personal information.
When you have filled out your company name and the branch and you then click the button, an overview will appear with dozens of logos. It already looks professional.
You can choose one by clicking on it.
If you are not entirely satisfied and you want to make some changes, then you can edit the logo. Change font colours, width or sizes, or add an icon; it’s all possible.
When you are finished you can download the logo.
First you will get an overview of the business cards you can order (against payment). But if you click on ‘no thanks’ at the bottom, you will skip this step.
Then you need to fill out your personal information and after this you can download the logo.
